Relax in our campsite in Barcelonnette with its 840m2 aquatic area and its two heated pools.
The average water and air temperature is around 27 °C, so enjoy the view of the mountains and the surrounding nature. The terraces around the pool are a great place to relax, to read or to enhance your sun tan!
Various activities and entertainment are offered throughout the week at the pool site. So form your team and challenge your new friends in the Water-Polo tournament or take advantage of our aquafitness sessions!
4-STAR CAMPSITE WITH PADDLING POOL AND SLIDES: NEW IN 2023
Children and water are a great love story! The Rioclar campsite with its two heated pools is ideal for spending family holidays. A 220 m2 pool and a 100 m2 paddling pool equipped with two slides await you!
Toddlers can have fun in the 40cm deep paddling pool under the watchful eye of their parents and learn about the joys of water and swimming! Prepare your children with armbands and swimming goggles, your little swimmers will love the two 2.5m high slides for little children and enjoy the pleasure of sliding in our 4-star campsite.
Free aquagym sessions are given by our lifeguard two or three times a week. The pool is reserved for you for this moment of relaxation and exercises. Apart from theses dedicated activities time, the pool is all yours.
Swimming lessons are also available on request from our lifeguard.
And if you prefer wild swimming, our campsite is close to the lakes of Serre-Ponçon, Jausier and Lauzet and has direct access to the Rioclar lake !
A fresh water pool inspected three times a day
The pool is open daily from June 15th from 10 am to 7 pm. Swimming is under the vigilance and responsibility of the parents; it is supervised by our qualified lifeguard during peak periods.
We check the water quality at least 3 times a day and guarantee clear and safe water.
The water quality is controlled by an ARS-approved body, by unexpected checks, twice a season. Since 2005, all analyses have shown “very good” to “excellent” water quality.
