Some information about the river
The Ubaye river is navigable on 52 km, the total river is 80 km long,with 60 rapids, 9 different waterways classified with difficulty level I to IV, await you for a ride down according to the season, your level and the waterflow.

From the Italian boarder to the Lake of Serre-Ponçon, along 80 km, the Ubaye river follows the valley increasing its flow, offering from time to time wavy or quiet streams.
Try a ride and master these wild waters safely, by rafting, canoeing or swimming there.
The Ubaye River offers picturesque landscapes, welcoming riverbanks, a certain quietness, which we enjoy through the incomparably unchanging melody of the water that flows towards the cities from which we feel so far away.

Rafting departures directly from our campsite in Barcelonnette. Leave your car, come and change at the Rapid’Eaux Raft chalet and embark for more than two hours of fun and excitement!
