The campsite in Barcelonnette is bordered by two rivers, the Ubaye, mythical and wild river of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, and the Rioclar stream.
Several riverside walks are directly accessible from the campsite. They will lead you to the Maison du Bois or to the old village of Méolans-Revel. You can practise white water sports from the campsite, a must-practise activitity in the region.
Take the time to recharge your batteries or walk from the campsite to the river with the fishing rod in your hand for an unforgetable evening catch.
The campsite offers direct access to the Rioclar pond, an ideal spot for swimming and relaxing. Picnic tables are at your disposal.
Children can practice fishing or canoeing. A path gives you the possibility of taking a short and easy walk around the lake and along the river.
In the evening, teenagers and young adults meet there a spend nice evenings, very close to the campsite but at a gateway to nature.
The Lauzet lake (5 minutes by car from the campsite) is a beautiful mountain lake where you can enjoy a safe swim and practice pedal boat, paddle or kayak.
Toddlers will be delighted to wade and play in the sandbox. A nice spot to discover for everybody.

The Serre-Ponçon lake is a huge playground, a magnificent artificial lake in the Southern Alps. It offers water activities that will complement your mountain activities. It receives water from the Durance and Ubaye rivers.
15 minutes from the campsite away, you can go diving, enjoy sailing, rowing, water skiing, kitesurfing, jet skiing or simply take a boat trip.
“Good tip” : go paragliding over the lake from Saint-Vincent les forts.
