Rioclar: A campsite designed for your children
Holidays at Rioclar means having fun, taking advantage of totally free independent infrastructure! Your children will be able to move freely everywhere on the campsite while being completely safe enjoying the different fun and sporting spaces of our Barcelonnette ground.

At the reception all the necessary equipment is available for you for free. (ping-pong, badminton rackets, mini-golf clubs, tennis rackets, pétanque balls …). Come and see us! In July and August our facilitators at the Barcelonnette campsite are there to pamper and concoct your children varied and adapted programs.
The Aventura-Park Multi-Sports center offers you wild water activities from the Barcelonnette campsite on the Ubaye river as well as biking tours. Within a 15 -minute walk from the campsite, kids and teenager can play the adventurers on an exceptional site on the Ubaye bank: 4 tree top and ropes courses, with giant zip lines and rope bridges above the Ubaye river.

Just relax on the panoramic terrace of the restaurant and enjoy the view of our magnificent mountains at the Barcelonnette campsite while the children have fun safely!
The playground and the mini-golf are close to the restaurant. Thus, parents can take advantage of a relaxing moment while keeping an eye on children who make new friends at the playground, mini-golf or playing the giant Connect 4!
Need cocooning? Go to one of the cozy lounges of the restaurant to read or play family board games.
An entertainment team at your service at the Barcelonnette campsite
Children aged 5 to 12 will make new friends while participating in the free children’s club activities during the morning which are supervised by our facilitators team. The youngest accompanied by their parents are also welcome!
Our facilitators have plenty of playful ideas for every taste!
The facilitators will invite your small detectives to discover nature for building huts or dams on the Rioclar streams … or to solve puzzles, riddles or treasure hunts games!

A campsite suitable for children and very young ones
The Rioclar campsite is pleased to welcome your little ones.
Between family walks in the Ubaye valley, sports activities for every one or a splash in our swimming pool, your children will be won over!
The Rioclar campsite enjoys a 100m2 paddling pool in which your child or toddler will discover the joys of water and bathing under your supervision. A brand new universe opens to them! Have you forgotten the inflatable arm rings? Do not panic, head to the campsite grocery store!
Children under the age of 12 may use the 2-seater slide or slide into the second slide. Fun and laughter guarantee at our campsite!
Do not lug unnecessary items anymore and get the baby kit in your accommodation. High chair, baby bed and bathtub are available in your accommodation upon reservation within the limits of available stocks.
The essentials to do with your children in Ubaye
Do not miss the essential walks to do with your children in Ubaye. Go and meet marmots! Directions will be given at the reception desk and you will be informed about which walks are suitable according to the age of your child.
At the reception desk you will also get information about a multitude of activities in Barcelonnette and in the Ubaye valley. Among others:
– A visit to the Maison du Bois in Méolans-Revel and its carpentry demonstration workshops
– A rafting outing(over 5 years) from the campsite
– An outing for adventurers: tree top and ropes courses, with giant zip lines and rope bridges above the Ubaye river.
-A trip to the Serre-Ponçon animal park and its air ballet with eagles, owls and vultures above the lake of Serre-Ponçon
– A descent in summer sledding in Pra-Loup: 1143 m slope in dual slide
– An afternoon at the Los Ninos Park and its inflatable water games adored by children
